Digits being same

Let me introduce 2 sets of numbers
First set 13458
Second set 02679
Let me show you how the numbers can be made to travel. With each set I make 18 five digit numbers .You can see that the numbers in the second set are exactly double those in the first set.
13485/26970.....13548/27096....13845/27690....14538/29076.....14835/29670.....14853/29706
31485/62970.....34851/69702....35148/70296....35481/70962.....38145/76290..... 38451/76902
45138/90276.....45381/90762.....48135/96270...48351/96702.....48513/97026...   48531/97062   ....

  2. Surely you didn't stumble across this. How did you find them? Are there many more sets like this?

  4. Good effort. The elementary structure of numbers from 1 to 10 is such that you will find some nos double the other 5. So you can form a pair. Then by sheer permutation and reckoning you an get more pairs. 5 digits can be permuted in 120 ways and in some of the pairs we may find the mass doubling. Anyhow good &sustained work.

Now I am a bit involved in Theory of relativity (General) tieing up with indian Institute of Astrophysics Bangalore to see whether some constructive work can be done in Dark energy &Dark matter. For this as a preliminary measure I have to do a large no of problems in those theories (Special &General) After retirement I could devote some time to this amidst my annoying eyeproblems. hope I will do some work.

I longback studied some group theory pertaining to Prime nos and nos and there are beautiful &elegant therems and analytic formulations giving behaviour of nos. There is a journal from Madras Mathes science institute solely devoted to prime numbers.

anyhow I laud your effort. keep up.
